Super Pets at Thonton Library

It's not every day you get to see a roller skating parrot, a "Simon Says" playing pooch, and a flag raising pig.  About 70 folks were treated to those amazing animal performances on March 15th.

John Vincent and his troupe of specially trained trick animals delighted the audience with golfing, pig frisbee, and a parrot obstacle course.  The Super Pet entertainers included:

Panji, the Indonesian parrot   

Drifter, the chocolate Lab     

and the pot-bellied pigs Digger and Mudslinger

The troupe is actually a celebrity group, having made appearances on Animal Planet, David Letterman, and Jay Leno.  Mudslinger has been called the one of the world's smartest pigs by Hog Genius on National Geographic.

The program also incorporated some animal education and animal care for the kids.  That's a subject near and dear to Vincent, since most of his animals come from rescue centers.
