Job Help for Teens

On Thursday, May 1st at 4:00 PM, the Adams County  Workforce will be at the Library to help get information into the hands of teens that are looking for a job.  Many resources will be discussed and flyers handed out to help those looking for an edge in the job world.  Please sign up!

Moms Rock!  A Family Story Time

Wednesday, May 7th, at 6:30 PM, Ms. Rene will host a family story time with books starring different moms and then have a craft for participants to make and take home.

Marionette Show

Mark Hellerstein will bring his marionette show to the Library on Wednesday, May 14th at 6:30 PM.  His show is suited for all ages and includes music and audience participation stories.  Sign up early as space is limited.

How to Sell on eBay!

This special program will be presented by local eBay expert, Rich McGaughey on Saturday, May 24th at 2:00 PM.  Come learn helpful insider tips!

Music and Movement: Mondays at 10:30 AM for children 3 - 6

Join Ms. Rene for Music and Movement at the Perl Mack Library!  We'll sing songs, dance to music, play with instruments, and learn new games.  This program is geared for kids 3-6 years old and is free to join.  You don't need to sign-up ahead of time, just come on in for a super-charged start to the week!

A Need to Read Youth Book Club

This youth book club next meets on Wednesday, April 16th, from 6:00 to 6:45 PM.  The book for April is Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brinks.  Read the book, come to the meeting, enjoy related puzzles and trivia, and discuss the book.  The club is for people under 18 who like to read chapter books.

Perl Mack Book Club

Join us for lively discussions of your old and new favorite books. The Perl Mack Book Club meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9 AM at the Perl Mack Branch.  For more information, click Book Club Schedule.

Genealogy Group

The Perl Mack Genealogy Group meets the third Tuesday of the month at 9:00 AM.  The next regular meeting is Tuesday, April 15th, 2008.   This month's discussion is on how did our ancestors cope with income taxes.  We will discuss the 16th Amendment and the beginning of Federal Income Tax in 1913.
